Por ser uma autêntica vienense, adoro esta profissão tão variada e excitante que exerço em tempo integral já há alguns anos na minha cidade.
Após terminar o estudo de Filologia Românica (espanhol e francês), vivi um ano no México, onde estudei literatura. Em seguida lecionei espanhol e francês em uma escola secundária de Viena e estudei História da Arte. Esporadicamente trabalho no ramo cinematográfico e televisivo. Também trabalhei como guia turística na Europa e em outros continentes.
Vocês mesmos podem escolher as atrações turísticas e itinérarios parar descobrir a cidade, tornando assim sua visita a mais agradável possível. Desta forma o trajeto poderá ser feito tranquilamente com intervalos para desfrutar um café tipicamente vienense ou, se desejarem, poderão permanecer um pouco mais em um lugar de maior interesse.

Mostrarei-lhes os cafés mais antigos, acolhedores e elegantes da cidade e lhes contarei as histórias e anedotas que os tornaram famosos.
Com muito prazer auxiliarei a elaborar seus programas noturnos: ópera, concertos, teatro e assim como reservar restaurantes.
Se tiverem ainda um pouquinho de tempo, não deixem de conhecer a região do Wachau (no Vale do Danubio), Patrimônio Cultural Mundial. Também os bosques de Viena (Wienerwald) são altamente recomendados.

Meist weiß man über die eigene Stadt am wenigsten. Dies war auch der Ansporn dazu, unseren Betriebsausflug einmal etwas anders zu gestalten und eine Wientour zu organisieren. Durch die wertvollen Informationen von Frau Jemelka erfuhren wir einmal mehr, dass wir gerade in Wien die durch den Alltag aufgesetzten „Scheuklappen“ ablegen sollten, um die Schönheit der Stadt zu erkennen und viel Wissenswertes zu erfahren. Nach einer kurzen Einführung am „Albertina-Platz“, (Mahnmal gegen Krieg und Faschismus) wurden neben der Schatzkammer sowie der Nationalbibliothek auch die Jesuitenkirche besucht. Der abwechslungsreiche Spaziergang durch Wien brachte uns näher, was Wien zu bieten hat: wo ein Basilisk sein Unwesen trieb und wie dieser unschädlich gemacht werden konnte und wo der liebe Augustin verkehrte,. Neben dem rustikalen Mittagessen in einem wohlbekannten Stadtheurigen mit altem Kellergewölbe führte uns Frau Jemelka am Nachmittag durch die interessanten und geheimnisvollen Gassen Wiens mit einer abschließenden Jause in der K+K Konditorei Demel. Es war ein gelungener Betriebsausflug und wir können Frau Jemelka nur weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons pris nous aussi grand plaisir à visiter votre très belle ville de Vienne en
votre compagnie. Parmi nos visites : La bibliothèque nationale, la crypte des capucins, le
trésor du palais impérial, les appartements impériaux (Hofburg). A pied devant le parlement et le Rathaus où nous avons profité pour déguster une bière et des saucisses sur la place, quel bonheur !

pris des mets différents pour goûter à un maximum de plats. Tous extraordinaires, de la bonne cuisine de gourmets. Avec un service impeccable, rapide et très sympathique. Les desserts très bons aussi.
Nous sommes tous enchantés de notre séjour, nous en avons encore plein la tête et les yeux.

My husband and I recently visited Vienna. We had only two nights in this beautiful city. We were very fortunate to have been referred to Gabriela by a tour guide in Prague. We enjoyed a four-hour car tour, and a two-hour walking tour. It was perfect (we visited in the winter!) We were able to see so much of Vienna in a very short time, and Gabriela really paid attention to our specific interests. She was extremely knowledgable of the culture and history of the city, and even gave us connections to order tickets to the evening opera. We had a great time in Vienna. We loved the MAK restaurant and the Demel and Segway, the Danube. It was all fantastic. Thanks for your great suggestions. Your city is incredible. Due to a change of travel plans my wife and I were going to be in Vienna for just 3 days before traveling to Poland. Before leaving for the airport I emailed Gabriela Jemelka. By the time I arrived at the airport we had communicated several times through email and had the date, time and meeting place set for the very next day. At 2pm Monday, Gabriela met us at our hotel gave us a quick briefing of our three hour tour and we were off. Due to the time limitations of our visit I had asked for an overview of the city so my wife and I could go back the next day to the areas we saw for more detail. Our expectation were not only met but exceeded. The travel route through the city was excellent and well laid out we saw areas and venues that we would have never found on our own with a book or bus tour. At the end of the tour Gabriela sat with us to go over the city map, recommend restaurants, markets and a winery outside the city. That night we tried one of her dinning recommendations and were not disappointed. Our one full day in Vienna (Tuesday) was made perfect by the foundation built by Gabriela the day before. One of our highlights on the trip to Vienna was the trip to the winery something we would have never seen if not for Gabriela. "Our family just returned from Vienna. We arranged to have Gabriela guide us for one and a half days. Her knowledge of Vienna and Austrian history, as well as her wit and charm convinced us to hire her for a third day!
How do we evaluate our time with Gabriela? We learned a great deal about Vienna and its history. We saw many things we wouldn't have seen on a big commercial tour. We experienced Vienna at our pace. Gabriela delivered first-rate service, meeting us at our hotel, arranging for outstanding concert tickets, joining us for lunch and snacks, and accompanying us to a U-Bahn stop near our hotel in the First District. Value added, for certain.

"We have just returned from a visit to Europe, and we wanted to tell you about our full day tour with Gabriela. We only had a short time in Vienna, and speak very little German. We had pre-arranged a 6 hour tour with Gabriela, and she came and met us at in the morning at our hotel to start the day.
Gabriela is a beautiful linguist, speaking many languages. She was professional, but fun. She let us tell her what we wanted to do, and was cheerful when we suggested a "break" for mid-afternoon refreshments. You will find Gabriela easy to be with, very helpful, accommodating of whatever pace you/your group needs, and in general a lovely person.
Of course you never know when you are arranging things over the Internet, and if the plans would actually work. But Gabriela is very good at what she does, and it is worth every penny (or Euro!) to have an individual, personal tour arranged. We give her the highest recommendations, and thank you to Gabriela for a wonderful visit to Wien. We will sign up for another tour on our next visit to Austria!

"Just got back from spending a short weekend in Vienna. A day before I left I looked for a private tour guide of Vienna and came across a woman called Gabriela Jemelka. I sent an email, not really expecting a response at such short notice, but to my amazement Gabriela replied within a few hours and we booked a day tour. We split the tour into two - a 2 hour walking tour in the City Centre in the morning, a break for lunch and then we met up again at 3pm with a driver Gabriela arranged, for a 3-hour tour around the City. We had an excellent time with Gabriela, who proved to be very knowledgeable in all aspects (art, history, politics etc.), not imposing and most importantly - she "understood" us very well pretty quickly. We were three in our early 30's, didn't want to do very heavy-duty sightseeing, just to enjoy ourselves and she picked up on this pretty quickly and went along with it. She took us to places we wouldn't have found on our own, and was very attentive to any request we had, big or small. The driver she arranged was delightful, the car was very comfortable (a Chrysler Voyager) and the price was reasonable. Very highly recommended!" Joanna Landau, Israel
