Walks
Vienna for beginners
For those who are visiting Vienna for the first time: we’ll see the Imperial Winter Palace called the „Hofburg“, the historic center of Vienna with its narrow streets and inner courtyards and St. Stephan’s Cathedral.
Vienna, the city of museums
The former Imperial family left a rich heritage to Vienna, some of which is stored in its wonderful museums: the Museum of Art History, the Imperial Collections in the Treasury chamber, the Belvedere Palace, et al.
Vienna and the „Fin de Siecle“
At the end of the 20th century Vienna was famous for the Secession (exemplified by Otto Wagner’s inventive architecture) and a home to Art Nouveau and its figurehead painters: Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka.
City tours
Tours by bus or private car
Ride along Vienna’s famous boulevard, „the Ring“, and get a great view of some of the most significant architecture, such as the State Opera House, the Austrian Parliament, the Rathaus, the Burgtheater .... continuing in the direction of the Danube you’ll see the giant ferris wheel. After a short stop to view the ornate modern architecture of the „Hundertwasserhaus“ we will continue on to the Belvedere Palace. Here, as a fitting end to the tour, you can enjoy a superb view of the city center from the palace gardens.
Nostalgic tours by tram
It is possible to rent an antique 1920’s tram and roll through Vienna in the old fashioned way.
