I`ve been working as an independant local guide in Vienna/Austria for several years. I really enjoy to show my guests from abroad the beauties and curiousities of my hometown. In my tours you will hear about the past but I am always open to talk about the present and top themes which are off your interest.
Vienna has a very special flair and a huge range of cultural offer. Time seems to move slower here than somewhere else in the world. Cosy Coffeehouses, typical winetaverns, a visit of one of viennas magnificent museums, a walk along the elegant bulevards or simply a stroll through the hidden places this and more I`d like to show you ………
- walking tour of approx. 2 hours is an ideal way for beginners to get in touch with Viennas history and architecture – you would see the most important sights such as the cathedral St. Stephens, the opera house, the imperial palace; the famous coffeehouses Demel & Sacher; the spanish riding school; Kärntnerstraße; Graben and Kohlmarkt
- walks off the beaten trail: those tours would take you to less famous but very interesting quarters of Vienna „Jewish quarter“; „Bloodlane“; „Greek Quarter“ or the „Old University Quarter“
- Habsburg special this tour follows the footssteps of our former imperial family where they lived loved and died. On this tour you would see the „Sisi Museum“ „the Imperial Apartments“ the Augustine church and the Capuchin Crypt (imperial burial vault)
- Bicycle tour on this approx. 3 hours tour you can combine body and brainwork.. Vienna is ideal to bike flat and save – you will see a lot in a relativly short time
- Hiking tours - probably you are participating on a congress or you are just interested in move your legs. Vienna is ideal to combine nature, culture and pleasure in a short time.
- Tours outside Vienna such as the Danube valley; lake Neusiedl; Vienna woods; Salzburg and Budapest. Ask for combination of boatrides and winetastings.
